Yamaha FG730S Solid Top Acoustic Guitar – Best Value Ever?

Yamaha DOES more than motorcycles – Here’s a kick-butt newbie guitar!

You can buy this guitar for under $300 and it’s a great beginner guitar.

  • Solid spruce top.
  • Rosewood fingerboard.
  • Rosewood bridge.

This guitar is not made with bells and whistles. It ain’t no roller coaster guitar and it won’t always be your favorite. But this is a sturdy guitar in a full dreadnought body. This guitar has a rich tone that will surprise you because you wouldn’t expect such a great sound from a cheap guitar. Damn!

This is a great value for the price and if it’s your first guitar you will not be disappointed. It’s easy to play, it looks great… it feels great too!

Pros: Affordable, sounds great, feels great to play. The sound of this guitar will fill most rooms with it’s rich tone so you’ll impress friends and family alike.

Cons: There’s not too many bad things about this guitar. If you’re expecting to get a high-end Martin feel in a $300 guitar, this ain’t it. Matter of face, you’re not going to find that anywhere. So be real about it. Well, I guess one real “con” is that there are no electronics. If you absolutely need electronics, look at other guitars.

Amazing acoustic for the price

When you show your friends this guitar and they hear it, they will ask you a question. “How much did ya pay for that?” You get to reply “Under $300″ and then watch them gasp and see their jaws drop to the floor. It’s a great sound for the price. It looks good and feels good. It seems like much more than a $300 guitar. Now if you’re the type of guy that needs to spend big bucks on stuff, then you won’t impress folks with a $300 guitar. If you’re a value guy, how can you beat this one from Yamaha? We don’t know if it’s beatable (for the price).

Yamaha outdid themselves. Truly.

Intermediate players will likely find this guitar very suitable. It can be a great first time guitar, yes, but more advanced players will love it for it’s value. LISTEN. If the economy is getting to you and you need a guitar, check this out!
